Secondly, am I available?
I will only take on a limited number of bookings per month, this means I will become fully booked more quickly. It also means you can expect a more exclusive level of service....unlike most cake designers I will not be working on multiple other cakes at the same time as yours, you can be sure your cake will not be rushed and it will be given the undivided love, care and attention it deserves. What happens next?
Once availability is confirmed for your date we can discuss initial your wedding cake ideas and an estimated price. Don't worry if you are unsure on design details as many people secure their date long before they have finalised a design for their wedding cake. We can discuss my pricing structure to ensure this works for your wedding cake budget.
All wedding cakes require a booking fee of £150; this is a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit which ensures your date is booked into my diary. We work on a first come first served basis and dates cannot be held without a deposit.

READ OUR FAQS
We recommend a design consultation around 3 to 6 months before your wedding date to finalise the design details and discuss delivery. Unless your design is particularly complex most consultations will be held via a phone call or zoom. For more complex designs in person consultations can be arranged - these are for two people only and are usually held during weekdays at my home cake studio. As summer is such a busy time for making wedding cakes consultations are held in late autumn, winter or early spring. Please note we do not offer design consultations for buttercream cakes with fresh flowers.
We will confirm your chosen design along with flavour choices around 2 months before your wedding date and also send a final invoice for any outstanding payments. The remaining payment is due by bank transfer one calendar month before the wedding date.
a moment of deliciousness with our cake sample boxes
Our luxurious cake sample boxes give you the opportunity to try some of our popular cake flavours. These are available over winter months only and can be either be collected or posted on a next day delivery service. Our standard box is £35 and contains a range of popular flavours or our premium box is £50 and this allows you to choose your own flavours from our menu.
We can bake many more flavours for your wedding cake so please so ask if there is a flavour you would love to have that is not listed on our menu. Bespoke sample flavours can also be arranged for an additional cost.

We completely understand that some clients prefer to have a wedding cake sample box before paying a deposit - our standard box of popular flavours can be purchased for £35 or our premium box with your own choice in flavours is £50. These can be if collected from me in Worskop or posted by next day delivery for £12. Please note this cost is payable in advance and is non-refundable.
Sample boxes are only available during winter months. As part of my service promise I want to be fully devoted to every client order so will not make samples on any weeks where I also have a wedding cake being made (this generally rules out samples April to mid November ).
cake stands/ hoop hire
We have a range of elegant cake stands, plinths and hoops to help style your cake to perfection. Please note stands must be returned to me in Worksop within 5 days. Any breakages / late returns will be subject to additional costs.
