Storing your data
We will use all reasonable efforts to safeguard your personal information such as firewalls, encryption, limited access, use of passwords, etc as appropriate. Our paper copies of order forms are kept for a maximum of 6 years for tax purposes in a locked file. These are then securely shredded.
Our online records of your order will only be kept for 6 years for tax purposes.
Information from enquiries that did not result in an order will be deleted 2 years after the event date that you enquired about.
Any payment information (if collected) should be destroyed immediately after it has been used for business purposes.

Your Rights
You can ask us to delete the data we hold for you, by sending us a request to info@storeybookcakes.co.uk. We can only do this if you don’t have a current order booked with us.
You can withdraw your consent or unsubscribe to any marketing lists by contacting us and we will remove you and your data from our list.
Use of Services by Storeybook Cakes
Storeybook Cakes uses Google Analytics to monitor the website performance. All data within this will be deleted after 26 months.
We may also use MailChimp for our promotional emails – if you have ticked the consent box on our order forms or signed up via our website you will have given us permission to contact you. If you no longer want to receive these updates, contact us, or unsubscribe from the last email.
